Meeting Highlights
The 2022 HKS meeting on “Innate Immunity: from Basic Biology to Human Disease” virtually hosted by TheRockefeller University yielded remarkable turnout, with participants from all corners of the world. This is a testament to the profound and influential work of Henry Kunkel, as well as the enthusiasm to hear from our extraordinary speakers.
Federica Sallusto from the Institute for Research in Biomedicine in Bellinzona and the University of Zürich, Switzerland delivered a marvelous Kunkel Memorial Lecture on the clonal analysis of T and B cell responses to SARS-CoV-2, which holds great promise for developing vaccination strategies for emerging SARS-CoV-2 variants. All of our speakers gave fantastic seminars as evidenced by the engaging discussions that followed. Among the many people who have organized the 2022 meeting, we thank the members of the HKS council and administrative staff, and the Rockefeller University AV/IT team.
