new member nominations
Dear Members:
It is time to consider new members for The Henry Kunkel Society. As you know, the Society has been vibrant largely due to the annual addition of new members. Investigators involved in research into mechanisms of immune-mediated disease are our natural constituency.
The application process is relatively simple. Please send a CV and letter of nomination for a candidate whose work explores human or translational immunology. The requested format is:
- A one-page cover letter describing the nominee and his/her contributions to patient-oriented and disease-oriented immunologic research. Please include in the letter a statement that the candidate will join the Society if elected.
- A complete curriculum vitae. Current policy requires that the applicant have authored or co-authored at least 10 papers.
These nominations should be sent electronically to me at bdiamond@nshs.edu. Applications must be received by December 31, 2007 to be considered in this year’s applicant pool.
We rely on our current membership to identify the future members of this Society. Please take time to consider those colleagues whose work would be of interest to The Henry Kunkel Society. Your participation in this process is very important.
Sincerely,
Betty Diamond, MDSecretary
The Henry Kunkel Society
